What We Believe

We believe and know to be true, that the Bible (both Old and New Testaments) is the inspired Word of God and it is the complete revelation of His will by which all people are saved. It is divine in nature and it is the final authority and foundation for the entire Christian faith. As followers of Christ (not of denominations), we believe in the resurrection of our mortal bodies to an immortal state, upon the return of Jesus. Word of Faith, hold these truths and many others to be precious and dear in Gods’ eyes, as well as our own.

The Bible as Foundation

What We Believe and Why We Believe (Psalm 19:7-11; 111:7; 119:72)

The word “Believe” is defined as “what we accept as Truth”. The Bible is our foundation because (1) God is its Author; and, (2) we are sanctified through the message of the Bible; and, (3) it is the
only ultimate proof of our Faith.

As the Body of Christ, it is our responsibility to affect the community in positive ways. There was a time when the community was the church and the church was the community. God has charged us with the responsibility of reuniting the two for His work.
